Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities are available in the following programs and activities:

College for Living (mid-February to mid-December)- volunteers needed to be teachers' aides

Public Policy (February/March/April) - volunteers needed to assist with phone banks and Rally Days in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Youth Program Computer Camp (July)- volunteers needed to assist youth during classes and provide minimal personal assistance.

Heartland ADA Celebration (July)- volunteers needed to prepare for event (e.g. make signs/posters, facility set-up/clean-up, greeters)

Assistive Technology Consumer Fair (Spring)- volunteers needed to be greeters and assist with activities.

Roll on the River 5K and 1M Fun Run (June)- volunteers needed to assist with registration, route marshals, timing, and refreshments.

AT Reutilization Program - volunteers needed to assist Technician with cleaning and light repairs of donated equipment.

Office Assistance (ongoing) - volunteers needed to provide general office assistance (e.g. sort mail, shred papers, front desk greeter/answer phone)
NOTE: At this time, volunteers are not needed for office assistance.
