For 36 years, Paraquad has been instrumental in assisting individuals with disabilities in obtaining accessible, affordable housing in the St. Louis area.
There continues to be a shortage of accessible housing, resulting in many people with disabilities being forced into inaccessible living situations or nursing homes.
Paraquad has placed a strong emphasis on the housing needs of people with disabilities. Our programs provide financial assistance for home modifications, rental and mortgage payments. We have advocated increasing market rate and affordable housing by working with architects, developers, landlords, participants and the community.
