Deaf Way Interpreting Services
Sign Language Interpreters
Since 1997, we have provided the St. Louis area with the best source for all sign language interpreting needs. Whether an interpreter is required for a single assignment or for ongoing situations, it is our goal to provide you with the highest quality professional interpreters.
Our interpreters are qualified to interpret in any situation for any Deaf individual regardless of their language preference. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our vast knowledge of language modes for the Deaf include: ASL (American Sign Language), PSE (Pidgin Signed English), CASE (Conceptually Accurate Signed English), SEE (Signed Exact English), Deaf/Blind (tactile interpreting for people with limited vision or totally blind), and Oral Interpreting. Schedule an interpreter.
Video Remote Interpreting
DEAF Way introduces an alternative to interpreting: Video Remote Interpreting (VRI). VRI utilizes video-conferencing equipment to provide sign language interpreting services to remote locations. To learn more about VRI, download this informational brochure.
DEAF Way provides a Sign Language Interpreters Mentorship program designed to develop and refine interpreters' skills and to introduce them to the business applications of interpreting. Continuing education credits are available through this popular program. Find out more about our Sign Language Interpreters Mentorship program.
Throughout the year, DEAF Way also offers continuing education trainings in the form of skills enrichment classes and workshops. DEAF Way will present several continuing education opportunities in the coming months.
