Web Accessibility
The following are steps you can take as a web user to make the web more accessible:
- Keep your web browser updated. This is the program your computer uses to view web pages such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox (note: these programs are free to download).
- You can change settings on your computer to help with individual accessibility needs such as color settings and text size. The website My Web My Way provides step by step instructions for changing setting on your computer that can make the web easier to use.
- When you experience accessibility issues with a particular site let the owners of that site know you are having trouble.
